What happens during the first in-home appointment?

The first time we visit your home, we’ll talk about your project. The goal of the visit is two-fold: first, we will look at the windows that need to be replaced or installed; second, we’ll show you product examples and give you advice on what window is most suitable for your space, your home, your budget, your needs, etc. This is when we can talk about the approximate cost of window replacements and the average installation price for your project. The consultation will last somewhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Please ensure the areas to be inspected are clean and accessible, and any pets are accommodated accordingly prior to the visit.

Our window installation service includes:

  • Home consultation with one of our window installation professionals
  • Measurement of window openings to ascertain the size and dimensions
  • Professional recommendations regarding window styles, materials, glass types based on the space and your home
  • Quote for all labor and materials and financing options if available

We had an excellent experience with the Chicago window guys. We had a leaky window that is positioned over the front door. I had countless companies come out and half looked at it and turned us away due to the size and weight of the window, even the big name companies. Russ and crew came in and found that the leak was due to pitch and limestone. They replaced the limestone and also replaced my front door. The door has been in and window repaired for about a year now and has been fantastic. Russ and team were phenomenal to deal with. Highly recommend.

I had 7 windows and a sliding door installed. It has changed the look and feel of my house. No drafts–even in the extreme cold we just experienced. My heating bill seems less. I had a full house window replacement and sliding door replacement. They were very straight forward about the whole process. The cost was great and the installers were prompt and did awesome work. I HIGHLY recommend Chicago Window Guys! I was immediately contacted by Russ after I inquired about our project and a time to meet was set up. Russ was easy to talk to and understood our project which was a new front door, but also replacing a back swinging door and pair of windows with a sliding door. Great experience working with Russ and his team on some custom sliding doors/windows. Price was fair and everyone involved was very easy to work with and communicative throughout the process. The installers were great – showed up on time and got everything installed and cleaned up. They did a great job with cleaning up and installing new trim. These doors are a massive upgrade from what they replaced. The temperature is now much more consistent in our condo and will require less a/c to keep our place cool this summer. Will use Chicago Window Guys again.

I heard about Chicago Window Guys a few years ago on a radio ad. I ended up going to the southside for a summer home show to meet on of their reps, Mark. He was honest and upfront. I hired them to install a bathroom window and a sliding door.
